1.THE DIFFICULTY
The aged earthen canal had significant bank erosion and water loss, which resulted in:
High Seepage: Before reaching crops, more than 35% of irrigation water was lost.
Logistical Restrictions: Conventional concrete mixers were unavailable due to the remote location.
Time Pressure: Before the monsoon season, repairs have to be finished.
2.THE CHANGFENG SOLUTION
The CHANGFENG Cement Blanket provided a “concrete on a roll” solution that eliminated the need for heavy machinery:
Rapid Laying: Rolled out manually to conform to the canal’s irregular shape.
